The Director of the Customs Forces directed the Police Lieutenant General, Hasab Al Kareem Adam Al-Nour to has issued directives on acceleration of work in the (new) hangars and the expansion of Port Sudan Airport to bring in to international level.
According to Hasab al Kareem, during his tour on (Sunday) to various departments has underlined the need to apply time limit for completing the work in the projects at the airport.
He reviewed the progress of work in the luggage warehouse and listened to the citizens. While directing the Customs Administration to expedite work while pledging to increase the workforce to serve the public.
He praised the technical and security breakthrough carried out by the Airport Customs Department, and the seizures made in recent days, especially with regard to the smuggling of gold and foreign currencies.
