Derik Cultural Festival (DCF) is thankful for Scienius_Hub collaboration in the third edition of festival and looking forward for more collaboration based on common ideas and vision we do share in culture as fundamental tool for building healthy and prosperous society.
Scinus hub said that Derik Cultural Festival (DFC) has consistently served as a vital space for intellectual exchange and a unifying cultural platform since its inaugural edition three years ago. It has played a crucial role in fostering the development of cultural activities nationwide.
Over the course of its three editions, the festival has been a fertile ground for cultural enrichment and diversity. It brought to light the substantial contributions of the intellectual luminary Deirk Alfred, emphasizing the role played by the Kwoto Center over the years.
The festival also celebrated the noteworthy contributions of the esteemed artist Emmanuel Kembe, who was rightfully honored as the Personality of the Year in 2023.
In a time where the nation is in dire need of cultural initiatives to bridge gaps in both the cultural and artistic realms, DFC has been instrumental in achieving this objective.
The participation of The Pioneers group served as a symbolic representation, reflecting cultural diversity through songs that underscored the pioneers’ role in achieving national unity and preserving cultural heritage through art.
Scenius Hub felt honored to collaborate with the festival’s management by screening a film directed and performed by Alex Joseph on the third day of the event.
We eagerly anticipate a robust partnership with the festival’s management in future editions, offering our center’s space for related activities.
Our team is prepared to contribute and collaborate in organizing upcoming editions as well
In conclusion, Scinus hub extend their heartfelt gratitude to DFC for the honor bestowed upon us. They wish the festival continued success in future projects and urge all cultural stakeholders to unite in supporting and perpetuating the invaluable contributions of the late Deirk Alfred.
