A farmer of Syri،an nationality, has in partnership Sudanese nationals, implemented a pioneering experience in agricultural investment in Sudan through the use of center-pivot irrigation to grow alfalfa, potatoes, and wheat in an area of ​​280 acres. The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Othman Hamza, praised the experiment and pledged to provide all the reasons for its success, indicating that the state is promising in agricultural and animal production to provide fertile lands, irrigation water and markets.
He pointed out that the state government provided new irrigation pumps and fuel, which contributed to irrigating all the agricultural area targeted for the early winter season in the Al-Sarorab Agricultural Society, with an area of ​​500 acres.

He committed to advancing production and addressing all obstacles. The governor appealed to citizens to resume their work and normal life in safe areas. He said, despite the war, farmers confirmed their ability to overcome difficulties and continue production.
The governor pledged to solve drinking water problems and include the rehabilitation of Al-Sorrab Hospital within the health emergency plan.

He directed the organization of trade movement on Al-Wadi Street and the Western Nile Street crossing the northern countryside, and the removal of all violations found on the street.
