Enacting Emergency Law and Managing War Economy
Sudan Events – Nahid Oshi
Professor of Economics and Finance at the University of Khartoum, Professor Ibrahim Onour, said that managing the war economy requires enacting an emergency law, which was necessary to ratify since the beginning of the war.
He called in a recent statement to Sudan Events for exploiting resources in the required manner in light of the war, and this requires the presence of a competent, non-politicized government whose primary goal is to manage the economy within the framework of a war economy by developing a series of interconnected short-term plans with the aim of controlling State expenditures and revenues, taking into account the challenges and the restrictions imposed by the war.
