Trade Ministry’s Plan for 2024

The Minister of Trade and Supply, Al-Fatih Abdullah Yousif, denied that trade exchange between Sudan and the Arab Republic of Egypt was affected by the repercussions of the war that broke out on April 15. He said in a statement to (Sudan Events) that the trade exchange movement was not affected by the presence of land and sea ports, and crossings that receive goods from and to Egypt according to the import procedures adopted by the Sudanese Ministry of Trade and Supply. Regarding the volume of trade exchange Al-Fatih stated that the Ministry is conducting its statistics for the periods before the war and during the war.
He revealed his ministry’s plan for the year 2024, which includes further development in the trade balance and facilities for Sudanese exports due to the increasing demand for them in the global market, while controlling import operations as well as activating Sudan’s role in regional and global arenas.
