Singer Adel Muslam: What we are doing now is better than singing

Musicians were martyred in the front lines. The media does not seek to know what we are doing

Singer Adel Muslam is engaged in major humanitarian work, which is considered the most valuable during this war. Muslam , with his relationships and people’s love for him, has become a humanitarian window from the east, from Port Sudan (receiving and delivering) humanitarian aid to Khartoum and Madani.

Muslam believes that humanitarian work in this circumstance is what is required more than providing work.

New technician.

Adel Muslam works without lights: We do not beg any party to highlight what we offer. If someone works hard, it is welcome, but without that, we are not, we are just doing our work.

Despite this, he said in his interview to Sudan Events that he is very saddened by criticism without knowledge of the details of the matter, as a widespread criticism campaign indicates the poor performance of artists during the war period.

Singers are now contributing to relief operations in most of the shelters in eastern Sudan (Port Sudan and Kassala), and this is more useful than providing artistic works, considering that we have lost all the mechanisms used to provide works, as we have lost our musical instruments and recording studios.

The artistic community has lost the lives of musicians now on the front lines in the armed forces. Many have been martyred, and I believe there is nothing more precious than joy and lives. The last of them yesterday was trumpet player Magdy Karar.

Muslam attributed the blame to the media outlets, which neglect their role in searching for facts, accept what is available, and even pay attention only to the negative aspects:

There is also a failure on the part of journalists and their failure to seek to reveal information.

We provide a lot of humanitarian work, and we do not want the media spotlight behind it, but a diligent journalist can persevere and extract it with his journalistic zeal. This seems more feasible than our pursuit of the media. On the other hand, if something negative spreads, it is more likely to attract the media

. Muslam emphasized that the artist offers a lot that is unseen and unknown: In light of these data, the artist offers a lot without shedding light.

The fact that people did not know anything about him should not be a reason to criticize him in this negative way.

Port Sudan Customs witnessed the clothing we provided for the cold and medical solutions

The last one, two days before the fall of Madani, included winter labcoids, diabetes and blood pressure medications, and kidney solutions.

Muslam believes that humanitarian work and helping people in this circumstance is more valuable and useful than releasing a new song:

(Isn’t this more useful to search for, or do you want us to fill the media with screaming about what we present)
