Luc 6, Daniel Cesar, Omar Apollo, Clairo, Shaik, Faye Webster and others perform a major concert in the United States to support humanitarian efforts in Gaza and Sudan.
Variety magazine reported that Nick Hakim, Egyptian actor Ramy Youssef, Charlotte Day Wilson and Mohamed Al-Kurd will participate in the ceremony with Mustafa Al-Shaer. Sudanese-Canadian musical artist Mustafa Al-Shaer supervised the concert, and its proceeds will go to Human Concern International. According to its website, the organization raises money for humanitarian aid in Sudan, Gaza and other initiatives.
The “The Artists for Ed” exhibition is scheduled to be held on the fourth of next month, at the Newark Symphony Hall in New Jersey.
The artist Mustafa Al-Shaer announced the charity concert via his Instagram account, explaining the purpose of the event in detail, and part of his comment stated: “We have worked tirelessly to present this to you, but our fatigue is not even a sliver of what we will sing for.”
Mustafa stated that he visited Sudan and Palestine during the past few years to communicate with the community of young artists and organizers, but he described the recent unrest as having led to the disintegration of his hopes.
He continued: “Violence in both countries has taken over the dream, and here it is revived for me in some way.
