Napoli club president Aurelio De Laurentiis announced today, Saturday, the extension of the stay of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen within the team.
De Laurentiis, through his official account on “X” platform, published two pictures of himself with Osimhen at the moment he signed the contracts to extend his contract with Napoli.
The club has not yet revealed the details of the contract, but press reports indicated that the Nigerian striker will sign a contract extension for an additional season, ending in the summer of 2026 instead of 2025.
Osimhen’s new contract is expected to include a release clause worth 140 million euros.
It is noteworthy that Osimhen joined Napoli in 2020 from Lille, in a deal worth 75 million euros, while he contributed to his team winning the Italian League title last season thanks to his goals and assists..
