TSC Reviews Border Commission’s Plans

Vice President of the Transitional Sovereign Council (TSC), Malik Aqar Aer, was briefed on the plans, programs and projects of the National Border Commission.

During his meeting today in Port Sudan, with the head of the National Border Commission, Abdul Nasser Abdul Qader, he affirmed the state’s interest and support for the commission and addressing the obstacles it faces in order to carry out its required role.

The Chairman of the Commission said in a press statement that he briefed the Vice-President of the Council about the objectives, tasks and powers of the Commission and the urgent plan of the Commission in the wake of the events that Sudan witnessed as a result of the rebellion of the terrorist Rapid Support militia (RSF).

He pointed out that the meeting touched on issues of border crossings with the state of South Sudan and a number of issues of concern to the Commission during the coming period.
