White Nile: Protecting strategic locations

The Security authorities in the White Nile State have put in place rigorous plans for the protection of all strategic areas in the state, the Governor, Omar Al Khalifa Abdalla said.
He explained that those locations include the Kenana Sugar Factory as it stands out as one of the pillars of the Sudanese national economy
The governor on Sunday paid a field visit during which he inspected the work and operations at the factory under the current security circumstances the country is witnessing. The Governor has promised to resolve all challenges facing the factory, at the state level.
In the meantime, the Delegate Member for Kenana Sugar factory, Ahmed Musa, briefed the visiting delegation about the hurdles and challenges facing the current production season, mainly those related to the overall security situation.
