Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah
Citizens of the city of El Fasher in North Darfur demanded that the Federal Minister of Communications urge the telecommunications companies (Sudanese – Zain – MTN) to restore service to subscribers in El Fasher, given that the city remained isolated locally, nationally and globally due to the interruption of telephone and Internet services for three weeks.
The citizens said in their appeal that they had lost contact with their families spread across various cities in Sudan and their children outside Sudan. They also failed to use bank transfers through applications that rely on the Internet, which exacerbated their living conditions in light of the current conditions that the country is experiencing.
