Hamed Al-Nazer is a Sudanese novelist and media writer. He currently works as a news broadcaster on Al-Arabi TV in Doha.

He published five novels: Freej Al-Murr 2014 – The Prophecy of Al-Saqqa 2015 – The Black Peacock 2017 – Two Green Eyes 2020 – The Woodcutters (a non-autobiography of the gatekeeper) 2023.

Most of them were shortlisted for the Booker Prize for Arabic Fiction, and some won awards.
