Sudan to Kenya: No Rebel reception
Port Sudan – Sudan Events
The Acting Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq Ali, revealed that Sudan has summoned its ambassador to Nairobi for consultations, in protest against the official reception organized by the Kenyan government for the leader of the rebel militia during his visit there yesterday, ignoring the terrible violations committed by the banded RSF forces and the destruction they caused to the infrastructure, the country’s potentials, and citizens’ property.
The minister said, according to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA) today (Thursday), that the consultation with the ambassador will cover all possibilities of Sudan’s future relations with Kenya, which since the outbreak of the treacherous war in the country has continued to support the rebellion and host its leaders and supporters, in addition to conspiring with hostile regional powers against Sudan.
The leader of the RSF Militia, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), received an official reception in Nairobi, Kenya, which he visited yesterday, before holding discussions with President William Ruto, with whom he has special relations.
