Adel Amroush: “The Nations of Africa are the Biggest Event on the Continent

The Tanzanian national team coach, Adel Amrouche, believes that the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Côte d’Ivoire, is the biggest event in Africa, and his players will deal with it in a distinctive way.
The Tanzanian national team is currently conducting its preparations for the African Cup of Nations, Côte d’Ivoire 2023, hosted by Total Energies, in Cairo, in the Egyptian capital.
Tanzania is scheduled to appear for the third time in the competition, after its first appearance in 1980 in Nigeria, and its participation in Egypt in 2019, where the Tanzanian team was eliminated on both occasions from the first round.
Amroush spoke today, Saturday, in his statements to CAFOnline, from the training of the Tanzanian national team in Cairo, which will conclude with an important friendly match against Egypt, on Saturday, January 7.
The 55-year-old coach said that the players are keen to represent Tanzania in the largest sporting competition in Africa in a distinguished way.
“The players know that this is a big tournament and it is the biggest event in Africa.
This will give them great insight when they face big countries in African football.
This is the best opportunity, and it is good to dream of participating in the Africa Cup of Nations, Total Energies.” The former Mouloudia Algiers coach added: “I am happy for these players and they deserve to be here.”
