New cooperation between Sudan and Turkey

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Mohamed Hassan Dahab, stressed the strength of cultural and academic relations between Sudan and Turkey, pointing out the eternity of the common relations between the two countries.
This came during his meeting with Dr. Kohan, the educational advisor at the Turkish Embassy in Port Sudan, where the meeting discussed ways of joint cooperation between Sudanese and Turkish universities, especially in the field of exchange of professors and students.
The educational advisor expressed his keenness to implement and accelerate the protocol signed between the two sides and for Turkish universities to host their Sudanese counterparts in light of the current circumstances that Sudan is going through, and he promised to discuss this matter with the Turkish Education Council.
Professor Dahab thanked the advisor for his endeavor to open the horizons of joint cooperation between educational institutions in the two countries throughout his work in Sudan, stressing the importance of strengthening academic communication, especially since the two countries had previously signed many agreements and memorandums of understanding in the academic and scientific fields.
