Mining Companies: CBS to receive products

The governor of the Northern state, Abdeen Awadallah, affirmed the state government’s interest and keenness to address all issues facing companies in order to advance the production process of the mining sector, which he considers the first stable sector that contributed to increasing revenues. He reiterated the government’s standing with investors in the mining sector and praised the social responsibility of companies in supporting various services and benevolent activities in the state.
In the meantime, the companies working in the field of mining in the Northern State have asked that the products should go directly to the Central Bank of Sudan (CBS) in Dongola and to address the gold refinery, the Central Bank of Sudan and the Head Office of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company regarding the delivery of the product in the state.
The meeting was also briefed on the outcome of the meeting that took place recently between the Governor of the Northern State and the companies to address production obstacles and provide its inputs of gasoline and crude, as well as addressing problems within mining markets, how to transport it, securing companies and the product, transporting the product from the Northern State to Atbara in the River Nile State, and security risks.
