Yasser Al-Atta: We Approach “Releasing the Reins” Point

The Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Army, General Yasser Al-Atta, heralded the approaching stage of “unleashing the reigns – letting go the forces –a military reference for offensive action”, following the arrival of new aid, equipment and weapons to the army.
Al-Atta, who was speaking at the conclusion of the Moral Week activities in the Wadi Sidna Military Area, Thursday, announced that all the needs requested from the Commander-in-Chief of the Army have been responded to, and the bulk of them have arrived, and “the rest is on the way, and you will see what pleases you after that”.
The Assistant Commander-in-Chief saluted the heroes of the Battle of Karama along the battlefields of sacrifice. He extended the Commander-in-Chief’s greetings to the army units in Dilling who defeated the militia and pursued it and seized eight combat vehicles. He pointed to army troops in Omdurman Military Area, starting with the Commander of the Corps of Engineers and passing through the Special Action Forces who draw a picture of courage and bravery and made the Dagalo rebels flee.
The Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Army praised the Haganah forces in Al-Obeid, which continued to teach the rebels lessons after lessons, and the movements of Omdurman, as they advanced in all axes. Al-Atta concluded his statements by saying that “We will liberate Omdurman, and our coming encounter will be the beloved region of Darfur, God willing.”
