Expert warns against 2024 Budget Collapse

An economic expert has warned against a violent wave of catastrophic inflation to hit the Sudanese economic and have devastating impact on other government spending.

Ali Abdalla Abdul Razig told Sudan Events that this would impact the social sector namely the health and education and that he foresees a rise in the poverty rate while most of those working in government sectors losing their job, coupled with government inability to pay salaries.

He said those are indices the 2024 budget would face possibility of collapse, leading the national economy into total collapse.
