The technical committee charged with following up on the emergency wheat project implemented by the World Food Program and funded by the African Development Bank began its field visits to the various localities of the state. The committee, headed by the director of the Dongola Research Station, Dr. Al-Muez Lidin-illah Mohamed Fadl, member of the technical committee, began a program of visits in the Al-Gold and Al-Dabba localities. The visits aim to ensure the flow of inputs granted to the two localities and to decide during field visits the extent to which farmers made use of the seeds and fertilizers provided by the World Food Program within the framework of the emergency wheat project.

The Director of the Dongola Research Station confirmed in statements that the technical committee was established under the chairmanship of the World Food Program Coordinator in the Northern State and the membership of the Director of the Dongola Research Station, the Director of the General Administration of Agricultural Projects, the Director of the General Administration of Technology and Extension, the Director of the Northern Company for Agricultural Inputs, Dr. Al-Rashid Faqiri, and Engineer Hanadi Qasim Al-Sayed. He pointed out that the tasks the committee include following up the implementation of the program at the locality and unit levels, receiving the required reports from the local committee, submitting them to the higher committee, and raising any obstacles or problems that occur during the implementation of the program in the localities.
He added that the technical committee to follow up on the project will visit the localities of Halfa and Dalqo on Tuesday and Thursday, the localities of Dongola and Al-Burgaig.
