Khartoum: Vehicle License Fees this year, Unchanged

The joint meeting that took place today between the Governor of Khartoum, the state police, and the Roads and Bridges Authority has emphasized continuation of the 2023 license fee categories and their implementation for the current year 2024, taking into account the economic conditions people are living in under the war situation
The joint meeting is a coordination between the Roads and Bridges Authority and the Traffic Police in order to serve the citizen in all services and assist citizens in legalizing the conditions of their vehicles in light of the conditions of war and the presence of citizens in different locations, which prompted the state to open offices in five states.
The meeting stressed the importance of rehabilitating licensing offices to provide an integrated service that takes into account the ease of procedures and alleviation of the suffering of the citizen, whose suffering has been doubled by the war.
Karari Traffic Director, Police Major General Ahmed Ali Al-Khalifa, explained that all windows across the offices have been provided with the required equipment and aids so that they could fully be functional in serving the public.
The Traffic Department confirmed its efforts to develop operational and technical performance and raise the efficiency of the working staff, stressing its keenness to develop financial resources and use them to rehabilitate and improve roads and upgrade traffic systems.
