The Executive Director of the English Premier League, Richard Masters, revealed the latest developments in corruption cases that were attributed to the London club during the era of former Blues president Roman Abramovich, as well as to Manchester City in the Financial Fair Play Act case, after the club was accused several months ago as well.
Richard: “The new owners of Chelsea informed us of violations that occurred during the reign of the previous owner of the club, related to the payment of undue money and tampering with papers, and investigations are still ongoing in this regard.”
He added about Manchester City’s situation: “More information cannot be disclosed, but a date has been set in this regard.”
