Dollar Rises in Sudanese Market

The rate of exchange of the US dollar against the Sudanese pound maintained its rising levels during Thursday’s trading in the black market but equally within the commercial local banks
The exchange rate of the dollar against the Sudanese pound in the Bank of Khartoum was 950.0 pounds, and it was 1050 pounds in the Bank of Omdurman.
In parallel or black market, the price of the dollar today in Sudan for purchase recorded 1,100 pounds, and selling price recorded at 1,110 pounds, meanwhile the rate of exchange of the euro against the pounds in the black has reached 1,150 pounds.
The rate of the Saudi riyal in the black market recorded 292 pounds.
The rate of the Emirati dirham in the black market was 297 pounds.
At the same time, the rate of exchange for the Sudanese pound against the Egyptian pound remained at the level of 25 pounds.
Economic experts think the war that has been going on in Sudan since April 15 of last year has impacted the situation of the banking sector, and the local currency will not witness stability or recovery until the end of the war when the production wheel is set in motion.
