CAF Opens Investigation on Morocco vs Congo Match

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has opened an investigation into the events that took place in the match between the Moroccan national team and its Congolese counterpart in the second round of the African Nations Championship currently underway in Ivory Coast.

Yesterday, Sunday, the match witnessed exciting events and clashes between Moroccan coach Walid Regragui and defender Mbemba, captain of the Congolese national team, after the end of the confrontation, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

According to CAF, Gabonese observer Robert Mangolo recorded the events that took place in the match, which were reported directly by the media and satellite channels.
