Cairo International Book Fair to Inaugurate Soon

Egyptian minister of Culture Niven el Kelany checked on preparations done at Egypt International Exhibitions Center for the 55th Cairo International Book Fair that will be held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Wednesday ,from January 24 to February 6, 2024, under the slogan “We create knowledge… we preserve the word,”
The exhibition opens its doors to the public on the second day of its official opening, as it opens on January 24 and receives its audience in the morning of January 25, 2024, with a ticket worth 5 pounds, which is the same price as the ticket during last year, meaning that the state worked to fix the price of the entry ticket to the exhibition, to encourage readers of different ages.
On the demand for the exhibition during its activities and the acquisition of books. visitors can also obtain tickets from the official exhibition website launched by the Egyptian General Book Authority or through the ticket sales outlet at the Egypt International Exhibition Center.
The exhibition will receive visitors from ten in the morning until 8 pm. except for Thursday and Friday, when the public is received from ten in the morning until 9 pm.
The exhibition comes with the participation of 1,200 publishers, from the continents of the world, an increase of 153 publishers over the last session, and the number of participating countries reaches 70 countries of different nationalities, which enriches and confirms the idea of the exhibition’s slogan (We create knowledge… We preserve the word).
