Bahrain: SDGs Before Arab Summit in Bahrain

The activities of the International Forum for Entrepreneurs and Investments will be held in the Bahraini capital, Manama, mid-May, under the slogan “Achieving Sustainable Development Goals by Promoting Innovation and Economic Growth,” in conjunction with the meetings of the Thirty-Third Arab Summit.
The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, Professor Ibrahim Adam Ahmed Al-Dakhiri, stressed the importance of the forum and its relations with convening of the thirty-third Arab Summit (Bahrain Summit), giving it a special meaning.
Dr Dakhiri has emphasized the role played by the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, in addition to the partnerships, programs and initiatives, the most important of which is the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Unit headed by the organization, the Arab Office for Entrepreneurship and Agricultural Innovation in Beirut, the Arab Network for Entrepreneurship and Agricultural Innovation, the Digital Transformation and Agriculture Program, and the Arab-African Partnership Development Program in Agriculture.
He said this also include the modern cooperation in Rabat, Arab-Turkish cooperation, Arab-Chinese cooperation in food security, cooperation in space entrepreneurship for sustainable development, and harnessing artificial intelligence and data science to model food security conditions.
It is worth noting that the forum is held in partnership with the Economic Affairs Sector, and in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the Union of Arab Chambers, and the Investment and Technology Promotion Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
