Public Companies Incur Huge Losses

The Director of the Red Sea Navigation Company, Hatem Abdul Rahman, has revealed that all public companies affiliated with the Ministry of Trade , including the Red Sea Navigation Company and other companies, suffered major losses due to the war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Militia. He confirmed in statements to Sudan Events that the companies were noticeably affected by the war, where imports and exports are low and the volume of losses has exceeded 70%.
He revealed the exit of some companies from the labor market due to some policies, including the oilseeds company. However, he stressed that the current policy of the Minister of Trade is to restore the company to its normal position and it has begun working in its correct production line.
