Sudanese Embassy in Cairo Supports Isnad

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ambassador Mohamed Abdullah Al-Toum, has praised the Egyptian government and the Egyptian people’s standing with the Sudanese people after the outbreak of war on the 15th of last April and the rebellion of the Rapid Support militia (RSF) against the state. He promised during the honoring of the senior management of the initiative to support the Sudanese affected by the war in Egypt (Isnad) promising to make more efforts to strengthen relations between the two peoples in various fields, announcing support for the Isnad initiative so that it can fully play its role.
For his part, the former Prime Minister of the Republic of Egypt, Dr. Essam Sharaf, said that the initiative came as a confirmation of the eternal relations that unite the one people in the two countries, and it was necessary because the Sudanese and Egyptians have been brothers since ancient times, linked by a common destiny and future. He appreciated the role of Sudanese and Egyptian businessmen and volunteers in various fields who made efforts and paid money to achieve the goals of the initiative, stressing the importance of communication between the two peoples for a promising future.
It is noteworthy that the initiative began days after the first groups of Sudanese arrived in Egypt after the outbreak of war, and it works in several axes related to education, health, training, capacity building, food, rights, and direct support for in-kind materials, while dozens of programs were implemented in various govern-orates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and its membership includes a group of men. Businessmen, company managers, doctors, and Egyptian and Sudanese media professionals specialized in various fields
