Minawi in Juba: We will Intensify Efforts with those who are interested to address Sudan problem

Minni Arko Minawi, head of the political office of the Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC ),Democratic Bloc, governor of the Darfur region and head of the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army, SLM/A said that their visit to Juba, the capital of South Sudan, comes as an extension of their efforts searching for ways to end the war crisis in Sudan.
Minawi arrived in Juba today (Wednesday) on a visit for several days, during which he will hold meetings with officials in South Sudan and meet with President Salva Kiir Mayardit, to discuss ways to stop the war in Sudan.
He was received at Juba airport by the advisor to the President of South Sudan, Tut Qulwak , and many officials.
Minawi said in a press statement: Today we arrived in the Republic of South Sudan as part of a delegation from the Democratic Bloc to hold meetings and discussions with regional powers as an extension of our efforts to search for ways to end the war crisis in the country.
He added that they will work to intensify efforts with political and civil forces interested in addressing the Sudan problem by discussing humanitarian and political issues and appealing to the international and regional community to play their roles to stop the war and its tragic consequences.
