Aliou Cisse, coach of the Senegal national team, decided to leave the leadership of the team, after the Lions of Teranga bid farewell to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which is currently being held in Côte d’Ivoire.

Senegalese press reports on Thursday indicated that Cisse’s decision to leave the leadership of the Teranga Lions was due to undisclosed personal circumstances.
