Minister of Information: Sudan has lost Medical Supplies Of Millions Dollars

Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Graham AbdulQadir , announced that Sudan lost medical supplies worth $50 million in Khartoum due to the war, in addition to not benefiting from the pharmaceutical and medical supplies in Gezira State and the vehicles that were working in the field of combating epidemics, that is considered a loss that affected the citizen.
The Minister revealed in press statements that the Minister of Health affirmed in the meeting of Supreme Committee for Humanitarian Emergencies that the number of hospitals operating in Sudan now is 409 out of a total of 540 hospitals and the loss of 116 hospitals that used to serve the citizen.
He said that the meeting ensured the continuation of the fight against epidemics and diseases, the continuation of maternal and child health programs, and the importance of dealing with international organizations through procedures that guarantee national sovereignty.
He stated that there are some indicators indicating that some organizations have departed from dealing in accordance with sovereignty and violated these values, and therefore it is important to arrange for them to deal in accordance with these sovereign procedures.
