Kylian Mbappe, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, forced the administration of his French club to adopt a clear policy amid the uproar over his future in the past few days.
The correspondent of the newspaper “L’Equipe” explained that the Paris administration’s position is clear and frank, which is to remain completely silent until the player announces his decision and informs it to the club.
He added that the Parisian administration is currently focusing more on the team’s progress and results in various tournaments.
Press reports indicated that the Parisian star had made his decision and would leave the walls of the Parc des Princes next summer to move to Real Madrid.
Mbappe’s contract with PSG expires on June 30, and he has the right to sign for any other club as of January 1.
The 25-year-old French star joined the Parisian team in the summer of 2017 from Monaco for 180 million euros.
Mbappe was about to leave PSG for free when his contract expired in the summer of 2022, but he renewed the contract at the last minute.
Real Madrid officials fear that this scenario will repeat again this year, according to what Spanish media reported.
