FAO: 12 Million Vaccine Doses for Sudanese Herd

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Livestock, Dr. Hassan Al-Toum, has announced the arrival of vaccines to protect the national herd through the FAO, indicating in press statements (Tuesday) that the vaccines consist of more than 12 million vaccine doses, including all states of Sudan, which will be distributed to all states, and consist of three basic vaccines (smallpox, plague of the ruminants, and septicemia), according to The rest of the bacterial vaccines will arrive successively.

He indicated that the distribution of vaccines will take place from the ministry’s headquarters in White Nile State, the Supreme Council for Livestock, Kosti as a central region to cover the central states and the western states, including the states of Darfur. Dr. Hassan Al-Toum, Undersecretary of the Ministry, confirmed that vaccines for the main livestock exports had been secured, and the quarantines of Gedaref, Kassala, Suakin and Dongola were provided with the first batch of vaccines to ensure the flow of exports.
