Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah
Banana growers in Sudan revealed about the challenges facing the crop in Kassala State, and they cut off the existence of administrative and fertilization problems that require urgent interventions and treatments.
They explained that the most prominent problems are poor production, in addition to land salinity problems, as well as excessive nitrogen fertilization and the presence of weeds.
At a time when some revealed that banana producers were affected by the outbreak of war between the army and the Rapid Support Militia, due to the loss of markets, including Khartoum, pointing out that this had a negative impact on prices, as the price of a kilo fell to only 300 pounds.
