The Nile River State has begun rehabilitating, modernizing, developing and expanding Atbara Airport to accommodate the movement of exports and imports and contribute to marketing the state’s products in foreign markets.
The Governor of the Nile River, Dr. Muhammad Al-Badawi Abdel-Majed Abu Qarun, announced the launch of a major movement in order to contribute to providing the necessary funding to develop and rehabilitate the airport to involve all sectors of society in this major strategic project, announcing the launch of the Nile activities at the eleventh of next Sunday, the seventh of the month, in the Great Hall of the secretariat. The state government in Damar, with the participation of members of the security committee and the state government.
Othman Mohamed Othman, Secretary-General of the state government, called on all companies, business owners, chambers of commerce, economic institutions, bodies and employers’ unions to participate in the Nufra activities.
