Yemen coach: We are preparing warriors to confront the UAE

The Yemeni national team conducted a recovery training session on Saturday evening at Al-Nahda Club Stadium in the city of Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia in preparation for facing the UAE next Tuesday, in the double qualifiers for the World Cup and the Asian Cup.
The training session included a light warm-up for the key players in yesterday’s match, while the rest of the players performed ball drills on one side of the field.
Algerian Noureddine Ould Ali, the national team coach, spoke to the players, asking them to forget the result of the last match against the Emirates, which they lost (1-2).
“We have another confrontation with the same team on Tuesday, which we will fight in a manner similar to a battle before which we prepare our warriors with determination, will, and good preparation to improve our performance, and overcome mistakes and negatives, in search of a positive result.” Ould Ali told the players.
The Yemeni national team lost to the UAE (1-2) on Thursday, at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi, in the third round of the joint qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.
