Minawi: Islamists have the right to run the country

Head of the Sudan Liberation Army Movement SLAM, Minni Arko Minawi, affirmed the need for all Sudanese people to participate in the dignity Battle to resolve the rebellion and militia mercenaries in various cities and villages of the country.
He said while addressing Ramadan iftar organized by Gedaref government in honor of the visit of the governor of the Darfur region that Sudan does not need a leftist or Islamic Governor , but rather is in dire need of a governor who loves the homeland and Sudan, calling on the political forces for the important of uniting the internal front to confront the challenges ahead.
Minawi revealed the necessities that created more unity for the country.
Minawi said that the only goal for all Sudanese is to clean their country of cross-border mercenaries, affirming the participation of his movement’s forces in the movements of the armed forces SAF heading to the states of Gezira and Khartoum.
Minawi added that his movement will emerge, on Thursday, in the city of Gedaref, the fighting force known as the “Tiger” forces, which have been trained and prepared in urban warfare tactics and the use of all types of light, medium and heavy weapons.
They have received martial arts and physical education.
Minawi launched a violent attack on the political forces that delayed the country’s progress, and added, “The conflict between the Islamists and the leftists has exacerbated the country’s crises.”
Minawi described the militia’s shameless pretext that they are fighting elements of the former regime as delusions. Addressing the Islamists, Minawi said, “Oh, our Islamist brothers, leave us alone.” “We complete the transitional period.”
Emphasizing the right of Islamists to run the country, he added, “We cannot exclude specific political forces, but we can hold accountable everyone who committed crimes, injustice, or corruption during the period of the Salvation government.”
Minawi renewed his confidence in the armed forces and their ability to resolve the battle and crush the militia.
