Dafallah Al-Hajj: Destruction of Sudanese Traditional Music Centre

Director of the Traditional Music Centre, Musican Dafallah Al-Haj published videos for the first time of the Sudanese Traditional Music Centre, showing that it was subjected to destruction and vandalism.
He said in a comment, “All the musical collectibles were looted and destroyed, and there is no museum.
All the instruments were looted and what remained of them were destroyed.
52 musical instruments from all of Sudan, including instruments that are more than 90 years old, collected from their original regions, and some instruments whose makers died.”
He added, “A 28-year effort was made to collect, classify, study, and manufacture these machines.
The workshop was also destroyed, and the machines and mechanisms were looted, and the losses are being counted.”
