Sheikh Musa Hilal, leader of the Mahamid tribe, survived a sinful assassination attempt that he was exposed to in the Al-Hara area near the city of Mustariha (North Darfur State) on Tuesday.
The attempt was orchestrated by the leaders of the Rapid Support RSF rebels from the Dagalo family, who assigned it to a member of the Rashid tribe.
He was sent from the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, specifically to carry out the assassination.
According to the information, the perpetrator surprised Sheikh Musa Hilal by firing several bullets at him in the Al-Hara area, but he missed the target and was controlled by Sheikh Musa Hilal’s guard team.
The assailant was hit by two bullets in his feet. He was arrested, treated, and subjected to a thorough interrogation, in which he admitted that he had received an assignment from Abdul Rahim Daglo personally assassinated Musa Hilal in exchange for a known sum of money, with a promise to release him using an auxiliary force from the Rapid Support Forces RSF which was stationed near the Al-Hara area where the failed assassination attempt was carried out, which represents a new extension of the series of terrorist crimes and attacks in which the Rapid Support RSF rebels were involved in The current war.
