Prosecutions against “Taqaddum” Leaders.. …Law Takes its Course
Sudan Events – Report
As soon as the first bullet of the Sudan war was fired, the honeymoon ended between the leadership of the Sudanese army and the leaders of the Freedom and Change (FFC) “Central Council” previously – the “Taqaddum” coalition currently. The matter did not stop there, and accusations continued to pursue the leaders of the Taqaddum of loyalty and support to the RSF Militia, and the matter became apparent when leaders of (Taqaddum) signed the Addis Ababa Declaration with the leader of the militia. All of these reasons prompted the Sudanese authorities to initiate legal measures against dozens of leaders of the (Taqaddum) led by Hamdouk and to begin pursuing them.
Arrest Warrants:
The legal procedures initiated by the Public Prosecution against leaders, through which it filed reports that carry a penalty of death.
The prosecution issued two lists that included the names of the accused coalition leaders.
The National Committee for War Crimes and Violations of the rebel RSF militia registered a report No. 1613/2024 with the Port Sudan Prosecution against (17) people from the leaders of the Civil Democratic Forces Coordination (Taqaddum) on charges of provoking war against the state, incitement, aiding and agreeing, undermining the constitutional order, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.
The Supreme Prosecutor issued arrest warrants against Abdullah Hamdouk and (16) leaders of Taqaddum, and the prosecution demanded that the defendants surrender themselves to the nearest police station.
The report identified the defendants required to be arrested as: Abdullah Adam Hamdouk, Yasser Saeed Arman, Khaled Omar Youssef, Omar Youssef Al-Deqair, Babakir Faisal, Taha Osman Ishaq, Mohammad Al-Faki Suleiman, Suleiman Sandal, Shawqi Abdul-Azim, Maher Abu Jokh, Rasha Awad, Al-Sadiq Al-Siddiq Al-Mahdi, Zainab Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, Maryam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, Al-Wathiq Mohammad Ahmed Al-Berair, Jaafar Hassan, Mohammad Hassan Osman.
The other list issued by the prosecution included:

Procedures Welcomed:
On the other hand, the Dignity Lawyers Initiative welcomed the legal measures taken by the Public Prosecution against the activists and politicians of the Taqaddum group led by Hamdouk.
In a press conference held in Port Sudan on Thursday, panel member Khader Fadl Al-Sayed announced his representation in the indictment panel before the judicial agencies.
In the same context, a member of the Dignity Lawyers Initiative, Mr. Suliman, announced the launch of a platform for immediate reporting and receiving complaints from citizens about those collaborating with the militia and those collaborating against the state, as well as providing legal support for citizens who have been subjected to violations by the militia, for those who cannot afford lawyers with the aim of facilitating legal procedures since writing the report until the issuance of rulings by the judicial authorities.
Suleiman stressed the need to report those collaborating with the militia who are collaborating against the state.
Meanwhile, a member of the initiative announced the submission of a memorandum to the Attorney General and the Chief Justice to fill the legislative deficiency in the Sudanese criminal law, noting that the current legal texts in the criminal law are insufficient compared to the crimes, violations and atrocities carried out by the militia against civilians, in addition to clarifying the issues that need additional circulars to achieve justice for those affected.
