The Acting Minister of Interior, Police Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Khalil Basha Sairin, chaired the joint coordination meeting between the Ministries of Interior, Foreign Affairs and Federal Finance, in the presence of Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jibril Ibrahim, Lt.Gen. Police (Jurist) Khaled Hassan Mohieddin, Director General of the Police Forces, and Police Maj.Gen. Osman Mohamed Al-Hassan, Director of the Public Administration For Passports and Immigration.
The Acting Minister of the Interior explained, according to the “Police Press Office,” that the meeting comes in the context of coordination and cooperation to implement the directives of the Sovereignty Council TSC. regarding reducing the number of diplomatic missions abroad, with the aim of rationalizing spending and taking into account the conditions that the country is witnessing, affirming that the implementation of these measures requires coordination and cooperation from those parties to implement those measures. Guidelines, and he added that the meeting came out with understandings for all its outcomes.
He affirmed the continuation of meetings on a regular basis to address any intersections and implement directives to ensure the smooth flow of work in all foreign missions.
