Gen.Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, to attend this anniversary, and added, “Because the president is aware of the military operations taking place with the Rapid Support RSF militia, he will not be able to attend this anniversary.”
Participation, and the Foreign Minister-designate appointed Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq to participate in his place.
Al-Siddiq said that Sudan’s participation at this level comes to express solidarity with the victims of genocide and to remind that what is happening in Sudan now is the atrocities and violations of human rights, international humanitarian law and all relevant international laws by the rebel Rapid Support RSF militia that committed the crime of genocide similar to what happened in Rwanda. In 1994.
