Qatar: We provide aid to Sudan to overcome the current ordeal

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council TSC Lt. Gen.Marine Eng. Ibrahim Jaber, appreciated the increasing efforts undertaken by the State of Qatar in supporting and assisting Sudan in all fields, especially humanitarian ones.
During his meeting in his office in Port Sudan, on Sunday, with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Sudan, Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Sada, he expressed Sudan’s thanks and appreciation to the government and people of Qatar for standing with the Sudanese people and providing humanitarian aid through a regular air bridge since the beginning of the war.
Jaber appreciated the great development witnessed in bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing Sudan’s keenness to strengthen them and push them to broader horizons.
For his part, Ambassador Abdul Raouf Amer Ali Amer, Director of the Department of Peace and Humanitarian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, explained in a press statement that the meeting discussed the course of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance aspects of joint cooperation.
He pointed out that the Qatari ambassador affirmed the position of the State of Qatar in support of Sudan and its people and providing humanitarian aid to overcome the current ordeal, expressing his hope to bring peace, security and stability to Sudan.
