Tariq Lutfi: Popular action is a challenge
Sudan Events – Follow-ups
Egyptian actor Tariq Lotfy said that for the first time he is performing a popular drama.
He added, “It is the first time I work in popular culture, and the truth was that it was a challenge because popular people have characteristics other than moral characteristics, which are novelty and these needs.
They have customs, people speak with their hands, and they have a completely different body language and pronunciation as well.
I mean, they use terminology that is different from colloquial terminology, or I am accustomed to it.” In the roles that I play… for me, it was a challenge in my outfit , a challenge in the form of physical movement, and a challenge in the words they use.
I liked it very much when Ahmed Khaled told me the story and sent me two papers. I liked the story very, very much, and I was more happy because the truth was that the artist Ahmed Al-Saqqa was with us… because I and Al-Saqqa are really brothers, I mean, they are some of the kindest, kindest, smartest, most intelligent human beings you will ever meet in your life.”
