Sudan prepares to resume the oil pipeline with the south

Deputy Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Malik Aqar Air, was briefed on the progress of work and the challenges facing the work of engineering teams in restarting the oil pipeline between the state of South Sudan and the Red Sea, stressing the necessity of working to operate it as soon as possible.
During his meeting in his office in Port Sudan (Tuesday), the Acting Minister of Oil and Energy, Mohieddin Al-Naim, praised the efforts made by the ministry and the engineering teams in working to restart and rehabilitate the line.
For his part, the Minister of Oil explained in a press statement that he submitted a detailed report on the stoppage of the South Line and the efforts of the engineering teams to restart it, indicating that all arrangements have been completed and the machinery and engineering teams are ready as required.
The Minister of Oil revealed an upcoming visit by the Deputy Chairman of the Sovereignty Council to the Bashaer 2 oil pipeline station to review the progress of work and the challenges facing the station’s operation.
