Shukrullah Khalafallah: The road to Arki is paved with the safety of the army and Alhoot voice
Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The musical artist Abu Araki Al-Bakhit has been stationed since the outbreak of the April War and the rebellion of the Rapid Support militia against the legitimacy of the armed forces in his home in the Doha Omdurman neighborhood, accompanied by his son Cesar, loyal to the scent of memories. He carried the weapon of music and rejected hate speech, denouncing its cessation from his artistic perspective.
Despite the hopes that he would come out, the discussions did not succeed, and when we succeeded, on Wednesday, a year after the war, with God’s grace and protection, and with the help of the army, the special forces, and the mobilization of young men I know from the people of Baqa’a, right, left and center, they were brought together by a meeting point that is the homeland and a position towards the country after April 15, regardless of the intellectual intersections. I was with the artist Abdel Qader Salem, and it was a journey from Karari passing through all the bases and their openness and respect for the value of the arts, which facilitated passage. It is noted that the voice of the artist Mahmoud Abdel Aziz was not lost on all the bases of the youth, so he carried weapons and his voice accompanied them as they represented the spectrums and colors of the features to support Sudan. Ease of movement and scenes of destruction for everything are the common denominator, and until we arrived at the Artists Union, which had stolen all the musical instruments, there were moments that were filled with tears shed by Abdel Qader Salem. From there we headed, accompanied by the brothers Khalil Al-Dhafer and the fleet driver, the owner of the rickshaw, Khaled, so we reached the west of Al-Marikh Stadium, and from there it was difficult to reach an Arab house due to the presence of a clash, and the morale of the army youth was the highest, as we saw nothing but protection from them with a human cover for us until we arrived in Arki. These were valuable moments. Tears were flowing between Professors Arki and Salem. We imitated tears of joy and sadness after a year of absence. We found steadfastness and love for the person and the place. After a session, there was an atmosphere of determination between us, I mentioned when the young men of the army and special forces gave us the choice between continuing in the midst of skirmishes or returning, and Abdul Qader’s answer was, “We will continue.” It was a protection and preservation for us with a human cover, as I mentioned, and it echoed words that I will never forget from their commander, “You are treasures and you walk for treasure, and our role is to protect the homeland and its people.”
On the way back, after saying goodbye to the house of Arki and his son Cesar, we conveyed his longings to all the people of music and arts and all the Sudanese people with prayers that safety and security would return to all parts of our beloved country.
The bitter truth is that the war is cruel, but it brought a historic opportunity with the value of one professional army and united all streams of thought towards the value of peace and coexistence as well as it established the value for politicians to go to the ballot boxes and the decisive factor is the choice of people and for all media they established the value of stability of coexistence for one homeland with one army.
We welcome Sudan after April 15 for all the people of multi-ethnic Sudan. We sacrifice our lives for the cultures of our ancestral homeland.
