The film “Dry Skies Don’t Rain” wins the ART Channels Award

The Sudanese film project “Dry Skies Don’t Rain,” directed by Ibrahim Omar and produced by Aya Youssef, won the ART Channels Award worth $5,000, which is given to the best film project under development in the eighth session of “Our Film Forum,” which was launched online from April 19 to 21.
The event is organized by the Beirut DC Association.
The award was presented by Antoine Khalife, technical advisor to the channels.
Our Films Forum is a co-production forum that brings together independent producers, directors, and owners of feature film projects (fiction and documentaries) from the Arab region, with regional and international partners, including producers, sales agents, and representatives of support funds and festivals.
The forum aims to develop new cinematic alliances, encourage the development of joint projects and productions, and activate cooperation between experts and project owners, to facilitate obtaining regional and international financing and stimulate the exchange of experiences between participants and film teams.
