The Army Downs Two “Drones” Attacking Shendi

The Command of the 3rd Infantry Division, Shendi, has announced on Tuesday that two drones had been shot down using ground-based anti-aircraft guns.
The Third Division said in a statement, “Thanks to God and his help, the control and monitoring rooms reported the arrival of a drone coming from the south to the north, and the relevant authorities were informed about this. When the hostile drones entered the boundaries of the division’s command, it was dealt with by ground anti-aircraft guns, and its explosive devices were destroyed by air, and the rest of them fell. “The parts fell into part of the division’s airport buildings without causing any damage or injury to lives or equipment.”
It added, “About an hour after the first was destroyed, it was announced that a second enemy drone had been detected and was dealt with by air and ground anti-aircraft weapons. The air explosive devices were destroyed and hit, and parts of them also fell around the airport buildings without causing any damage or injury to lives and equipment.”
The Third Division confirmed that early and advanced monitoring and warning from the command and control rooms led to rapid handling of weapons and ground and air anti-aircraft weapons, which led to the prevention of any damage, thanks to God Almighty and the vigilance of the Third Infantry Division command forces.
The statement reassured all citizens in the city of Shendi and the region that all the forces of the 3rd Infantry Division and all the security services, as well as our forces advancing towards the cleanliness of the Al-Jaili area, are in full combat readiness to protect the area and are even advancing steadily to complete their tasks to clean the Refinery area from the militias and mercenaries, with near victory from God.
The Third Division said, “There is no reason to close the markets or disrupt work in the city, and that the situation under the command of the Third Division and the city of Shendi is proceeding normally.”
