Washington Envoy: “Sudan Conflict” Constitutes the Largest Internal Displacement Crisis in the World

The United States Special Envoy to Sudan, Tom Perriello, expressed his thanks to the US Congress for approving an aid package for the Sudanese people from both the Republican and Democratic parties.
He said in a post on his account on the (X) platform, on Friday, that this aid will allow the United States to provide life-saving assistance to the people of Sudan.
The United States Special Envoy to Sudan confirmed that the conflict in Sudan still represents the largest internal displacement crisis in the world.
He added: With millions of Sudanese facing malnutrition and even starvation, additional humanitarian aid is more urgently needed.
