The Financial Investment Bank Transfers its Activity to Gedaref

The Financial Investment Bank expressed its desire to cooperate with the Ministry of Investment in the field of attracting investors to invest in Sudan and moving it to work in Gedaref State after the destruction caused by the Rapid Support rebels (RSF) to the Bank in Khartoum State.
Acting Minister of Investment Ahlam Madani Mahdi appreciated the role played by the bank in attracting investors to invest in Sudan, especially in the agricultural, industrial and service fields.
She pointed to the need to pay attention to national investments, especially industrial ones, noting the importance of manufacturing industries and focusing on attracting national investors in this field.
She ensured the necessity of converting raw materials for manufacturing instead of exporting raw materials, and that preliminary feasibility studies be conducted for projects, setting special policies for industries, and providing guarantees for them.
She said that free zones in the border states must be developed, which provide foreign currencies and create new job opportunities
Calling for opening the way for small and medium enterprises
In the mean time she expressed her readiness to provide all facilities for the ministry’s joint work with the bank, she called for activating the work of investment commissions in the states and continuing them to relieve pressure on the center and achieve balanced development.
For his part, Director of the Financial Investment Bank, Taha Al-Tayeb Ahmed Ali, stressed the necessity of provisions for cooperation between the bank and the Ministry of Investment, reviewing the bank’s work in the stock market in Khartoum and its work in improving the general investment climate.

While the Director of the Financial Investment Bank in Gedaref State, Al-Hameem Al-Hadi, pointed out the necessity of unifying the investment structures in the states and improving their various management.
Demanding the necessity of establishing maintenance for the presence of factories in production areas, with a focus on diverse crops
Calling for the necessity of holding an investment forum in Gedaref State, in which all concerned parties are invited.
