The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, made a phone call with the Chairman of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Commander of the Rapid Support Militia, Mohammad Hamdan Dagalo. During the two calls, the latest developments in the current situation in Sudan and their repercussions on the Sudanese people were discussed.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry said that Prince Farhan stressed the importance of working to protect Sudan and its people against further destruction and worsening of the difficult humanitarian conditions, stressing the need to give priority to the interests of the Sudanese people, stop the fighting, protect state institutions, protect Sudan, and move it to safety.
